I fervently wish

I fervently wish for the skies
but the rain keeps pouring down
like the stars that fall from above
and in vain I seach for the love
to help me through this life

I fervently wish for the riches of the world
to vanish and never to be found
for only then can one find a true friend
who would always be at your side

I fervently wish for the youth
of which I was deprived of the love of a man
from whom I have been borne
If that happened..I would have been a different person...

I fervently wish for a life that is not mine
only because I am tired....simply too tired to go on...
If only I could ask God to stop the time and rewind it all
I would want my life lived out differently...
